Traveling to Sage Cottage on Mayne adds to your Gulf Island
experience.
From Tsawwassen take the Southern Gulf Islands ferry to
Village Bay. (Reservations are recommended).
From Schwartz Bay, take the Gulf Islands ferry to Village
Bay.
When you arrive on Mayne:
Coming out of the ferry terminal turn left and, at the stop
sign, turn right onto Village Bay Road. Travel Village Bay
Road for 2.3 km to the T-intersection in the village. Turn
right onto Fernhill Road travel for 1.8 km to Horton Bay
Road. Turn right and drivel 2.3 km along Horton Bay Road,
veering left at the fork in the road onto Steward Drive.
Travel .7 km along Steward Drive to Sage Cottage at #782.
The gate is kept closed to keep the deer from eating the
flower and vegetable garden and Missy, the resident terrier,
from chasing the deer. |
